Last summer's family reunion was such a success that the family requested that we be together more than one night. If one night is all that is possible, however, I recommend the Heber Valley Camp (where we stayed this last summer). It was a great price (it cost us around $700) with a lot of space (we had over 100 people) for people to sleep, eat, and visit. We reserved the closed pavilion, which there is only one of. This was much nicer to be able to do crafts in, have our talent show and eat. The kitchen is a large industrial kitchen. You have to bring your own cooking utensils and pots and pans, but they do have warming ovens and trays, a gas grill and stove. There is also a walk in refrigerator and freezer. The only draw back was the extremely strict cleaning regime following the two-day event. We wish we had just paid the extra fee and left the deep cleaning to someone else. Several signed up for and really enjoyed the confidence courses (minimal fee). One of the favorite group activity was that we reserved 100 spots on the lake ($200) to do paddle boating and canoeing. This was great fun. The only drawback was that it was limited to the hour that was reserved. The altitude was a bit of a concern for one family member, so something to be aware of. This next year we have reservations in Logan Canyon at the Bear Creek Lodge and Bear Mountain Ski Resort Lodge. I'll let you know how it goes. Where have you gone? What has worked/hasn't worked for you? We had a wonderful time on the Heber Valley Lake.
